WHAT IS PROPER PERIOD TO START THE TREATMENT AFTER APPLYING TO THE CENTER?

For the preliminary studies, the most suitable period of the female partner is the week following the end of the previous menstrual bleeding. For the male partner it is the day following 3-5 days of sexual abstinance. 2-day abstinance may also be sufficient for the preliminary studies. A joint consultation of physicians after obtaining test results will determine the treatment modality that will provide the highest chance of pregnancy for the couple. The total time that will be spent in the hospital is about 2.5 weeks.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

It takes an average of 14 to 17 days. The time changes with the response of the ovaries of the woman to hormone therapy.

IS HOSPITALIZATION NECESSARY DURING THE TREATMENT?

InVitro Fertilization is a process consisting of controlled ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrieval and fertilization, embryo development and embryo transfer stages. There are no procedures throughout this treatment period that will require the hospitalization of the woman. For most of the cases, daily blood tests and ultrasonographic studies will continue during the stage of oocyte development, however, the time to be passed in the hospital during this follow-up period will be as short as possible so as not to affect the daily lives and personal programs of the couple. As to oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer procedures; they are rather easy procedures that will not require hospitalization.

DO THE SPERMS AND OOCYTES COME FROM THE SAME COUPLE?

Absolutely so. One of the pre-requisites of these procedures to be carried out is the submission of marriage documents to us. The reproductive cells to be used in treatments are the own cells of the couples which have the legal documentation for their marriage.
