The "Firsts" that we had realized
   

First ICSI application:( ICSI = Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection = Microinjection)

This is injecting of sperm into the ovum of the female. It was first carried out in Turkey by our team on Semtember 1994.

First ICSI birth: The first microinjection baby of Turkey was delivered by our team on July 1995.

First MESA application: : (MESA = Mikro-Epididymal Sperm Aspiration) is the procedure for obtaining sperms under operation microscope from epididymis organ. It was first carried out by our team in Turkey on 16th Jan. 1995.

First MESA birth: The first live birth after a pregnancy achieved by MESA procedure was delivered by our team (twins) on 22nd Sep. 1995.

First TESE application: (TESE = Testicular Sperm Extraction) This is the procedure for obtaining sperms from testis tissue with an open testicular operation. This procedure was first applied in Turkey by our team on 17th Jan. 1995.

First TESE birth: The first live birth after a pregnancy achieved by TESE procedure was delivered by our team on October 1995.

First TESA application: (TESA = Testicular Sperm Aspiration) This is the procedure for obtaining sperms from testis tissue by aspiring with a syringe. This procedure also was first applied in Turkey by our team on the year 1995.

First TESA birth: The first live birth after a pregnancy achieved by TESE procedure was delivered by our team on 27th Sep.1995.

First PESA application: (PESA= Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration) This is the procedure for obtaining sperms from epididymis tissue by aspiring with a syringe. This procedure was first applied in Turkey by our team on the year 1995.

First PESA birth: The first live birth after a pregnancy achieved by PESA procedure was delivered by our team on the year1995.

First embryo freezing pregnancy: (Embryo Freezing is the procedure for storing the embryos when they exceed the number required for transfer and they are of good quality). This procedure was first performed in Turkey by our team on 31st July 1996.

First live birth with embryo freezing: First live birth (twins) after a pregnancy achieved by using frozen embryos were delivered by our team on 1997.

Developing of a blastocyste for the first time and live birth
